The Islander MC-4 Concert Ukulele features traditional mahogany wood. Mahogany is not only beautiful to look at but it's also a great tonewood. Paired with Aquila strings, walnut bridge and fingerboard, this uke is a real looker as well as a player. Unlike most of its peers, this uke utilizes bridge pins to better couple the string to the soundboard. This allows for a more immediate response and a full tone from each string.
